I have recently moved to the University of Perpignan (UPVD), France, where I teach a range of courses (mainly PG) in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics (FLE).

I formerly held posts as lecturer at the Universities of Nancy 2/Lorraine (France) and Southampton (UK).

My main research interests include: SLA, sociolinguistic variation in L2, language learning (corpus and DDL, ICT and learning, languages for special purposes). I am a member of the VECT research unit at UPVD: http://vect.univ-perp.fr/.

I am a committee member of the Association for French Language Studies (http://www.afls.net/) and was involved in the organisation of the 2011 AFLS conference in Nancy celebrating 30 years of AFLS: http://www.atilf.fr/afls2011/.
