About
I am assistant professor in control engineering at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia (France). I do my research work in the laboratory PROMES (Process and Materials for Solar Energy) (UPR CNRS 8521) in Control Engineering applied for energetic systems (thermal power plants and energy management in building). I also give lessons in the bachelor and master degrees of the department of Physics and Engineering Sciences.
At present, I participate in the supervision of three thesis of my laboratory. They deals with two mains topics.
The first one is about the control and the optimization of thermal power plants and energy storage systems for heating buildings via hot water networks, a topic that follows on from my own thesis topic.
The second one concerns the control of heating systems in building with the objective of minimizing the energy use and increasing the thermal comfort of the occupants. This one is in the continuity of my previous works done at Supélec (during my post-doc) and at the CEA-INES.
